Birds of a Feather

Students and friends of the studio were invited to explore this rich and varied theme through their chosen printmaking mediums, resulting in a lively and thoughtful collection of works that reflected both technical skill and personal interpretation. 

The exhibition was officially opened on Saturday 14 December 2024 and brought together artists, visitors, and the local community in a warm celebration of nature and creativity.

The gallery walls were filled with avian imagery ranging from delicate studies to bold, expressive interpretations, highlighting the many ways birds inspire observation, storytelling, and artistic expression. Birds of a Feather was a joyful testament to community, shared learning, and the enduring inspiration found in the natural world
